Clear Wood Finishes

Clear wood finishes & wood stains allow your wood to weather and gray naturally. Least protection, most woodgrain.

Transparent / Toner

Transparent wood stains add a slight hint of color that highlights the wood grain. Less protection, more woodgrain.

Semi-Transparent Stain

Semi-transparent wood stains provide rich color that allows wood grain and texture to show. More protection, less woodgrain.

Semi-Solid Stain

Semi-solid stains give the same rich color as semi-transparent, but hides more wood grain. More protection, least woodgrain.

Solid Color Stain

Solid Color Stain covers the woodgrain and accentuates the natural texture. Most protection, no woodgrain.

Deck Resurfacer

A deck resurfacer creates a new, safe, durable surface on worn or weathered wood or concrete.

Coverage

One gallon or 3.78 Liters covers approximately 250 to 350 sq. ft. or 23.2 to 32.5 sq. meters per gallon depending on application, wood texture and porosity.

Application Details

Apply to a small area and allow to dry to ensure acceptable appearance and penetration. Then, apply one thin coat with a high quality brush, paint or stain pad, or by spray equipment. Can be applied down to 50°F for <550 g/L VOC version or 35°F for <100 g/L VOC version.

Drying Time

Normally dries in 24 hours when applied in optimal temperatures of 50°F to 85°F or 10°C to 29°C. Application in high humidity or in temperatures below 50°F or 10°C may prolong drying times. Allow 24 to 48 hours of drying time before light foot traffic or replacing furniture.

Drying times may vary depending on temperature, humidity, film build, color and air movement.

Cleanup

Clean brushes and tools with mineral spirits for <600 g/L VOC version and with soap and water for <100 g/L VOC version.
